I’m Dr Srikanth KP.
I’m a Pediatric Gastroenterologist by training and practicing in Manipal Hospitals Group (since 2018).
I’m based at the old airport road branch and provide visiting consultancy services at the whitefield branch and Sarjapur Road branch.
I completed my Pediatric training (MD) from Postgraduate institute of medical education and research (PGIMER) Chandigarh in 2012 and Pediatric Gastroenterology Training (DM, Pediatric Gastroenterology) from the same institute in 2017.

About Pediatric Gastroenterology -
It is a subspecialty of pediatrics dealing with digestive problems in children. Broady we divide them into problems of liver, intestines and pancreas.
The usual symptoms are stomach pain, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, poor growth, jaundice, blood in stools and blood in vomitus.
The diseases in children are varied and entirely different from adults.
The medications are used at different dosages and monitoring the progress of treatment requires a different yardstick. It takes a lot to treat and care for the young ones.
The specialists in the field deal with a variety of digestive symptoms; however, stomach pain is one of the common problems I encounter in OPD consultation.
